Air rescue

The measures are implemented into two parts: first comes learning to fly (with a certificate stating you are an authorised person), then comes the fawn rescue. Project teams are prepared for rescue missions in fawn rescuer training sessions organised by Blaser. They are instructed on how to fly drones and are given documentation on best practices and on how to prevent fawns and other wild animals, such as the brown hare, grey partridge or hedgehog, from being killed during mowing. The project is part of Blaser’s long-term sustainability strategy.

The Blaser Fawn-Rescuer teams are deployed throughout Germany so that they can fly as many missions as possible. In so doing, by the end of May the tireless helpers had already saved 278 fawns, three young cranes, three young hares, three nests of mallard eggs and a deer calf. Congratulations and thank you for your work!
