It has been 122 years since Ludwig Loewe, together with MAUSER and the ‘Deutschen Metallpatronenfabrik AG’ (German Metallic Cartridge Factory, Inc.), founded the ‘Deutschen Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken’ (German Weapons and Munitions Factories) in Berlin. Throughout the decades that followed, the DWM brand evolved into an institution for hunters across the world. To this day, enthusiasts still appreciate their legendary hunting cartridges as well as the ’98-actioned DWM Models 1908 and 1909. Today, MAUSER awakens the old connections and brings the DWM legend back to life.
